Lauren Labat

Aloha, I am a former collegiate basketball player, have directed a local sports ministry non-profit and have been coaching and teaching athletes since 2008. My sport missions journey began in 2008 when I joined Crossover International out of Denver, Colorado. Through Crossover, I was part of a team who travelled to European countries to put on basketball camps and preach the gospel. I was with them until 2011 where I worked with Kids Across America and did inner city sports camp in Branson, Missouri. Soon after, my journey led me to Maui, Hawaii in 2013 where I became Camp Director of BasketballMAUI for the next 7 years.

In 2020 I joined Eternity Sports as a logistic coordinator for a docu-series called Playing for Eternity (found on Angel Studios). My playing, coaching, and directing experiences have allowed me to confidently step into this next season with FCA and trust that God is moving in Central Maui.
