About Jewel
Aloha!
I’m incredibly passionate about sports ministry—because I’ve lived it. I was a collegiate softball player at Hawaiʻi Pacific University and got involved with FCA during my sophomore year in 2023.
At the time, I was just like many athletes—driven but searching for something more. I was looking for purpose, direction, and identity beyond my sport.
Through FCA, I met mentors who poured into me, helped me grow in my walk with Christ, and encouraged me to live out my faith boldly. As I got more involved, I had the opportunity to walk alongside my teammates—some of whom gave their lives to Jesus, got baptized, and began to experience real transformation.
That season of my life ignited a deep passion for sharing the Gospel through sports. Now, I get to do for others what was once done for me. I love building relationships with athletes and coaches, leading huddles, and creating spaces where people can encounter the love of Christ.
My prayer is that every coach and athlete on Oʻahu would know they are seen, known, and loved by God—and that they have a calling far greater than the game.
