Tara Awai
Administrative Assistant Volunteer

Tara is the wife of Director Barrett Awai. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduate of Kamehameha Schools, she has been supporting the administrative duties for FCA Hawaii for the past year. She has a Marketing Degree in Business from Hawaii Pacific University where she also starred as a volleyball player for 4 years. She took a break from public service to care for their 5 children. Previously Tara was and administrative assistant for Alu Like, Good Beginnings Alliance, and the State Department of Land and Natural Resources. Aside from her administrative help for FCA Hawaii, Tara's passion for coaches and their families has motivated her to start the Behind the Bench ministry of FCA for coaches spouses and children.
